Top Things To Do In Thailand

As one of the most beautiful countries in the world, Thailand has plenty to offer you as a tourist or a traveller. Whether you’re off on a relaxing beach holiday or more of an adventure seeker, you are guaranteed to find activities to suit you!

Let out your inner buddhist at the temples in Bangkok, including the giant gold Reclining Buddha

Treat yourself to an authentic Thai massage (and you’ll pay about a tenth of the price you would in any other country!)

Ride an elephant – choose an elephant camp or site which is environmentally aware and doesn’t harm the animals. There are a few of these in Chiang Mai, for example this one or this one

Go snorkelling in the turquoise waters amongst the limestone cliffs

Visit a floating market (the most well known being the Damnoen Saduak just outside of Bangkok)

Shop in Khao San Road’s famous markets – you can pick up some really great bargains!

Spend a whole evening just sitting on the beach and watching the sunset

Eat the local Pad Thai from a street stall – it’s the best way!

Experience the public transport for yourself on an overnight (or daytime) bus and boat journey from island to island

Take a dip in the natural thermal hot springs of Ao Nang

Live out ‘The Beach’ scene for yourself in the gorgeous (but now sadly slightly touristy) paradise of Maya Bay

Sip Chang beer on Khao San Road…or equally on any of the beautiful beaches of the islands!

Sunbathe on the naturally beautiful white sand beaches

Ride a tuk-tuk through the busy streets
