I’ve snorkelled with clown fish in the Great Barrier Reef, kayaked in Halong Bay, seen lions, elephants and cheetahs up close on the African plains, interrailed around Europe, river safari-ed in Malaysia, sunbathed on beautiful Thai beaches, skydived, road-tripped, trekked through rainforests and up mountains, and camped in the Australian outback. And I can’t wait to see even more of the world!

Here’s a rundown of what’s made it onto my list so far…

See the ‘big five’ in their natural habitat on a safari game drive in one of Africa’s stunning national parks, trek through the desert landscape of Namibia, experience the moving history of South Africa in beautiful Cape Town…Africa is a destination for wildlife lovers, adventure seekers and ultimately those after a once-in-a-lifetime travel experience.

  1. You’re making me want to drop all my plans of saving for a house and to save for travelling instead. Thank you for the inspiration, I love your blog and I look forward to your posts! :)

      • I’m pretty certain I’m going to abandon my house plans now! Ahh I’m jealous, I miss Australia so much! I went for 3 months on a working holiday visa but it didn’t work out with getting a job etc (I’d only just turned 19, not had much experience with work and had severe anxiety at the time so I ended up coming home) but some of the experiences I’ll never forget! I imagine you were in Oz for Christmas? I bet that was so good, especially with the sun instead of the horrendous drizzle over here

I’m sorry for such a long comment!! Haha

      • Yeah I saw from a couple of your posts, it looks like you still had a great time though despite the issues and you can always go back on a year’s working visa at anytime :) I’ve used my year now so no going back to live for me, however much I’d love to! I actually got home just before xmas this year but was away for the year before – it was nice to be with the family again but I do miss it lots!
